I have always been a huge fan of Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dress line. Literally the pictures make me squeal with happiness. I seriously can’t wait till Patrick pops the question because I am going to want to try on all of these beautiful dresses. If you are anything like me, (nearly) 20 years old, or in a long term committed relationship, or female, or Disney obsessed, or wedding obsessed….so basically If you are a living unmarried female, then you probably know that the 2015 line had just been released! So to commemorate (is that the right way to use that word?) this wonderful event I want to discuss my favorite…and least favorite dresses from the line, as well as fawn over the newest additions!
2011!
-
-
Snow 207. This a tie with the previous Cindy dress. I love it because the flowers add a little something extra.
-
-
Cindy Style 205. I always pictured my wedding dress as a Princess ball gown, this one is perect!
-
-
Ariel Style 201. I LOVE this dress, but I love just about anything Ariel 🙂 Sadly I doubt I could pull off this look.
-
-
Tiana Style 204. I hate this. For one simple thing and you will sadly see it repeated several times on other dresses in the line. You see where they did one giant pick up in the dress? That big bulge right in front. Yeah I don’t like pick ups on dresses.
2012!
-
-
Snow 211. Yeah I think You already know my thoughts on this one. WHY THE HUGE LUMP????
-
-
Belle 217. I love this, I mean just look at the beading on the bodice, it is absolutly stunning!
2013!
I personally think this is the weakest year. I am not really wowed by any of the dresses from this year 😦
-
-
Ariel 223. Remember when I said I was a fan of ALMOST everything Ariel? This is where I draw the line. I feel Like I could have made this myself with the sheet off my bed.
-
-
Jasmine 222. This is my favorite Jasmine style, and the best dress from the 2013 season!
-
-
Snow 220. I think this would be perfect for a real simply ceremony since it is not all blinged out with sparkle.
2014!
-
-
Snow 239. I love this dress, its so different from what I always pictured for my wedding day, but I love it! It is so classy and I think very Jackie Kennedy.
-
-
This is the same Snow White dress with the cape. Most people don’t like the cape, but I adore it 🙂
-
-
Rapunzel 233. I LOVE THIS! I think it scream our Punzie with the flowers and ‘cloak’ like veil.
-
-
Cindy 241. I love this fairy tale dress! However, the first thing I would do is cut off the blue ribbon. On my wedding day I will be solid white, per my traditional upbringing.
-
-
Aurora 238. My Favorite Sleeping Beauty dress from the line! At least up to this point! I LOVE how the skirt looks slightly distressed with longer and shorter pieces of tulle. Reminescent of the year Briar Rose spent in the woods!
-
-
Ariel 242. I like this, but there is one thing keeping me from loving the only Ariel dress that would work on my body….It looks like an all white version of the dress I wore to my Jr Prom…I would rather not remember that night on my wedding day.
-
-
Ok maybe not quite…but enough for me to still not want to wear it. (I AM SO THANKFUL FOR PATRICK!)
AND HERE IS THE 2015 LINE!
-
-
Jasmine. This a jumpsuit and it looks like it came straight from someone’s prom. Not a fan.
-
-
Ariel! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I hope it comes in white!
-
-
Rapunzel! I am a sucker for ‘handmade wild flowers, which are all beaded to add the perfect amount of sparkle’!
-
-
Cinderella! Would you look at that neck? GOREGOUS! This dress is defenatly tied for first place!
-
-
Belle. WHY????????
-
-
Tiana! You probably noticed I haven’t been impressed with this amphibians style over the years. But this changed everything! I tie this one for first with Cindy’s dress! It is simple but elegant and the perfect ballgown.
-
-
Aurora! This dress is so soft and flowy, a little different from the sleepy princesses hard angles.
-
-
Snow! DAYYYUM!!! CAN I GET THIS IN WHITE FOR MY WEDDING AND EVERY OTHER COLOR FOR EVERYDAY WEAR!? Totally gorgeous and dramatic.
